This game is understandably a *few* years old but for it to be broken to this point on an officially supported platform while still being actively sold through the Windows store demands attention from The Coalition/Microsoft. While no fix has been identified by players it *appears* to possibly be a windowed-fullscreen issue, the game historically did not run well in windowed mode, and now even when fullscreen is selected, performance is identical to windowed and the behavior of the application in fullscreen mode is still consistent with windowed functionaliy.Ī thread was created on the Gears website in November and it took several MONTHS for anyone to respondĪll they issued was a vague response indicating they're aware of it, but that was nearly a month ago and I have not been able to find a single followup anywhere since.
